Welcome!
United Community Church (United Church of Christ) is a caring church united in God's love serving our community. We are a family of faith who have great passion for God and great compassion for people. While we are a people of diverse Christian backgrounds and former denominational affiliations, Christ is central to our life together and we celebrate our diversity. All are welcomed.
What is a Church? It is never a place. It is always a people. It is never a building. It is always a body of Christ in the world.
I love parades. I think most people do. Picture one with many colorful groups, individuals, smiling faces, bodies moving, arms waving, feet marching, lively music, flags flying, enjoyment for everyone.
I love the Church. Picture one - United Community Church of Sun City Center, Florida. Members and friends with smiling faces, learning and growing, worshiping, and serving our Lord Jesus Christ, reaching out in warm friendship and love to one another, our community, and world. As you look through this web site, envision our church family on the move! My hope is that this web site will help you get to know us better. It is another brick in making this church family a community of friendship, faith and warmth.
We are part of the joyful people of God in the world who have accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior. In the days to come may we continue to grow in our love for Christ, our love and caring for one another, and discover new ways to be a blessing to the world for which Christ died.
